Madavara Metro Station is the closest mapped metro stop to Sattva Ekatra at Thippapura, Doddaballapura. It is open and forms the north end of Bengaluru’s Green Line. The station opened for public travel on 7 November 2024, as part of the extension from Nagasandra.

Nagasandra is another Green Line stop to check for road access. Both stations offer trains towards Yeshwanthpur, Majestic and south Bengaluru. The choice matters for drivers: BMRCL lists bike parking at Madavara, while its Nagasandra parking entries include spaces for cars. The project needs a road transfer from either stop.

Madavara: Sattva Ekatra’s Closest Mapped Metro Station

Madavara is the northern end of the Green Line, which runs to Silk Institute. From here, passengers can reach Yeshwanthpur, Rajajinagar, Majestic, Jayanagar and Banashankari without changing lines.

The 3.14-km Nagasandra–Madavara extension added three stops: Manjunatha Nagara, Chikkabidarakallu and Madavara. All three began public service on 7 November 2024.

For travel from Madavara into the city, board a train towards Silk Institute. For a return trip from Majestic or Yeshwanthpur, board towards Madavara. Check the train’s display before boarding.

Which Station Suits a Drive-and-Metro Trip?

The nearest stop on a map may not be the best stop for every drive. Road access and parking can change the choice.

Station Listed Bike Spaces Listed Car Spaces
Madavara 280 0
Manjunatha Nagara 75 15
Nagasandra — two parking entries combined 274 125

These are listed spaces, not a live count of vacant bays. Check access and space before planning to leave a vehicle for the day.

For a cab trip, the key point is a clear pickup location near the chosen station. For a car trip, parking may make Nagasandra worth checking even if another stop lies closer on the map.

How to Reach Sattva Ekatra by Metro

From Majestic

Take the Green Line towards Madavara. Get off at the station chosen for your road transfer. Continue by cab or car to the project entrance in Thippapura.

The metro part of this route needs no line change. Arrange the pickup before you leave the train, and share the exact gate location with the driver.

From Whitefield or Indiranagar

Take the Purple Line towards Challaghatta. Change at Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station, Majestic to the Green Line towards Madavara.

Continue from the chosen Green Line stop by road. This route needs one metro line change.

From Yeshwanthpur or Jayanagar

Both stops are on the Green Line. Board towards Madavara and travel to your chosen pickup station. There is no need to change lines at Majestic.

Metro Parking Charges

BMRCL publishes the following parking rates:

Vehicle First Four Hours Each Extra Hour or Part Maximum per Day
Bike ₹15 ₹5 ₹30
Car ₹30 ₹10 ₹60

Overnight parking is not allowed under the published rules. These parking charges are separate from the metro fare.

For a regular work trip, add fuel, parking and train fare to the daily cost. Compare this with a full cab journey before choosing how to travel.

Sattva Ekatra Metro Connectivity and Road Access

Sattva Ekatra metro connectivity includes a road journey between the layout and the Green Line. The project has no metro stop at its gate.

Use the project entrance as the start or end point when checking a route. A route set to Doddaballapura town centre gives a different journey. Compare the drive to Madavara and Nagasandra at the time you plan to travel.

For daily use, count the full door-to-door time. Include the road drive, parking or drop-off, train wait, line change and the walk from the final stop. This gives a more useful view of metro access from Thippapura.

Airport Metro Update: October 2026

The Bengaluru airport metro was still under construction in October 2026. It was not open for public trips.

The Blue Line includes the 19.75-km Central Silk Board–KR Puram section and the 38.44-km KR Puram–airport section. An update dated 23 October 2026 reported 87% work progress on the first section and 61.5% on the airport section.

These are work figures, not service dates. Plan current trips using open metro lines, and check BMRCL notices before relying on a future airport link.
